Alice Beckett-Rumberger works professionally as a Physical Therapist for over 30 years. She is a proud University of Pittsburgh graduate. Professionally, Alice is a member of the APTA Minority Affairs Committee which seeks to broaden the diversity of the Physical Therapy profession. Alice has been on the Global Sisterhood Board since its inception. Alice also serves on the advisory board for the Children’s Theater, a part of the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust, the Northland Public Library Foundation, the North Allegheny Foundation and the Equity Impact Center. Alice is passionate about women, children, education and the arts. As a member of these organizations she is able to provide a positive impact to her community. Alice is also a mother of 7 children and soon to be 6 grandchildren. She understands that through empowering women and their families we are all collectively better.
